i have come down with a sore throat, which is my bodies way of celebrating the cooler weather. guess i turned all "floridian" over night and can't handle the cold any more... (cold-ish). so today is dedicated to home made pea soup, pumpkin muffins, and candy corn rice crispy treats. :)

everyone have a wonderful weekend... pumpkin picking, hay rides, halloween pictures? whatever it is, isn't October lovely? sore throat, or not i am determined to live out the coziness as much as i can.

Be Confident In Christ.

September 30

(Devotional from yesterday.)

 by Joyce Meyer

Be Confident in Christ.

"God Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support... I will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake you nor let you down." Hebrews 13:5

"You are created by a great God for great things. But you will only see the fulfillment of your own destiny by placing your confidence in Christ.

Satan works hard attempting to steal your confidence, but you must steadfastly resist him. If you will just remind yourself- and Satan- that it is Jesus who gives you confidence, you can overcome the devil's evil plan.

Don't let insecurities and the past failures steal your confidence. God says He will never leave you, nor forsake you, so you must believe it and act on it.

Whatever you may be facing right now, remember God is able even when you are not. He loves you and will show himself strong through your weakness. So just trust and believe."

...

um, has God been reading my Blog? if so, He definitely signed on yesterday and read what i wrote. He works so fast in my life sometimes... why does that still amaze me? Either way, today i am working on being more Confident in Christ and learning to let Him handle everything... even if it means unloading the dishwasher. With Him, it's just better.
